North Lancashire Wildlife Group
North Lancashire Wildlife Group are a friendly, local group of Lancashire Wildlife Trust who meet throughout the year to share our interest in the natural world. Anyone who enjoys nature is welcome to join us – no knowledge or experience necessary!
We arrange a spring/summer programme of outdoor events for anyone who loves nature. Many simply enjoy the easy walk and hearing about the natural history of the wildlife we find, some like to photograph wildlife and a few record the species we find. We are a very inclusive Group. There is no charge but donations are always welcome.
We also arrange an autumn/winter series of monthly indoor wildlife talks.
A major part of our work is the production of our annual magazine that has 60 pages with over 200 colour wildlife photos. There are more than 40 reports & articles by Trust officers and local naturalists, all celebrating our wonderful local wildlife from Botany to Birds and Mammals to Moths, and a lot more in between.
