Advice & Planning

The AONB Team aims to provide advice and hands on support to farmers and landowners to encourage conservation of the AONB’s special qualities; to encourage good practice management of habitats and natural features; and to encourage uptake of the new Countryside Stewardship and other rural development grant schemes. All development is expected to conform to a very high standard of design, to be in keeping with local distinctiveness and should seek to conserve and enhance the AONB’s natural beauty.
