About Us
Stunning limestone pavements, ancient woodlands, intimate orchards and meadows and an impressive coastline make Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape one of England's finest landscapes. The work of the National Landscape Partnership aims to conserve and enhance this extraordinary place now and for the future.
Working Together
In order to achieve effective conservation and enhancement of the area, working together in a wider partnership is crucial.
We are very grateful for the continued financial support of key partners South Lakeland District Council, Lancaster City Council, Cumbria County Council, Lancashire County Council, local parish councils and Defra, along with close and fruitful partnerships with numerous other organisations, landowners, farmers, businesses and community groups, both large and small.
A particularly strong relationship has been developed with other conservation organisations in the area such as the Wildlife Trusts, Butterfly Conservation, the Woodland Trust, RSPB,the Landscape Trust and the National Trust.
