Silverdale hosts the finest food!

The ever popular Silverdale & Arnside Food Festival returns to the Gaskell Hall on Saturday 9 July from 11am to 3pm. Entry is free, funded by Silverdale Parish Council. The very finest local produce will be on sale including teas, roasted coffee and scrumptious cakes from The Wolfhouse Kitchen & Bakery; BBQ by the RSPB; Bar by the Old School Brewery and all the usual stalls stocking fantastic local produce: fresh fruit and veg; apple juice; locally reared meats; pies; cakes & bread; jams; honey; chutneys; preserves; ice creams; dairy products, including cheese; garden plants and dog treats and there will also be displays, a tombola, a raffle & lots of free activities for children!
This year for the first time, the festival will also run on the Friday evening (8 July) with an event at the Wolfhouse Kitchen from 6:30pm. Kenny, Francis & co will be serving award winning pizzas from a wood fired oven along with other food specialities, as well as beer from the Old School Brewery. The Gallery & Studio will be open and Amy will be also be scooping up her delicious Gibraltar Farm ice cream.
