    Waymarking the AONB

Help us improve access to the countryside: The Access Network Donation Scheme

We’ve been delighted by the response to our appeal for donations to support our work to improve signage throughout the extensive network of footpaths in the AONB. The team have been working hard installing fresh new fingerposts at various locations in the AONB.

You can help us by sponsoring high quality footpath and/or bridleway signposts with either 1, 2 or 3 routed solid oak directional waymarkers, including a quality engraved metal plaque. Donations are requested for:

    • Signpost with one directional waymarker – £300
    • Signpost with two directional waymarkers – £400
    • Signpost with three directional waymarkers – £500

We still have several fingerposts to upgrade within the AONB, so do get in touch to find out current locations.

You can find out more about our terms & conditions of sponsorship: AONB Access Network Donation Scheme – Information and Terms and Conditions.

If you would like to donate, please contact the AONB office via email info@arnsidesilverdaleaonb.org.uk, indicating any preference for which post you would like to sponsor and we will get back to you with further information. If you wish to contribute a smaller amount towards the scheme in general do still get in touch – every little helps!

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far!
