Landart workshops for an Outstanding Week!
August 16th, 2018
15-23 September is Outstanding Week – an annual celebration of Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty throughout the UK. To encourage the next generation of landscape lovers to connect with our stunning countryside, Arnside & Silverdale AONB is hosting two workshops with internationally acclaimed environmental artists Richard Shilling and Julia Brooklyn of landartforkids.com.
We’ll be in the woods using Mother Nature’s materials to create beautiful works of art, from stick stacks to mandalas, leaf chains to fairy ladders. You can see what we created at our last landart day on our special picture gallery.
The workshops will run 10.30am-12.30pm and 2-4pm on Saturday 22 September at Trowbarrow Local Nature Reserve (walkable from Silverdale Railway Station).
Places are free, but limited and must be booked in advance.
