Activities:
- Submitting photographs to the AONB team for use in our social media, signage and other interpretive materials / publication
- Attending AONB events as a volunteer photographer (age 18+)
We are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help build our photo library, providing us with a range of high-quality digital images which reflect the special qualities of the Arnside & Silverdale AONB and the public’s enjoyment of the area.
These images will be used in future promotional material (eg: website, strategic documents, leaflets and on social media).
What type of photographs are we looking for?
At the moment we are particularly interested in high resolution photos of:
Landscape:
- dark skies in the AONB
Activities:
- Wildlife friendly farming (ideas here: Farm Wildlife)
People:
- A wide range of different audiences enjoying the AONB (please ensure you have permission to share images with us)
If you are photographing wildlife in the AONB be sure not to disturb either the species you are photographing or other wildlife in the area.
Training and support
You will be allocated a contact at the Arnside & Silverdale AONB office, and sent regular e-mails and updates.
When photographing at events you will be given a full brief to follow.
