Bittern Countryside CIC publications
Would you like to live in a more sustainable way by reducing your energy bills, buying local produce, recycling etc? Would you like to know more about the flora of the AONB? A series of free fact sheets and other publications are available.
Natural History Atlases
Working with Arnside & District Natural History Society, the Bittern Countryside CIC has published a series of atlases on the flora and fauna of the AONB. Packed with useful information and brilliant colour photographs, these handy little booklets will help you identify different species and will point you to where you are most likely to find them in the AONB.
The booklets are free to download or are available to buy from the AONB office, priced £2.50 each, or £6.00 for 3.
You can order hard copies or download pdf copies from the Bittern Countryside Community Interest Company website.
Energy fact sheets
There are six leaflets in the series, full of useful information and advice. These can be downloaded from the Bittern Countryside Community Interest Company website, and we also have hard copies of some of the leaflets available in the AONB Office.
