Events

In line with Government guidance to help us stay safe, the AONB Team, along with other local organisations, clubs & societies, has cancelled or postponed all face-to-face events, volunteering activities, and nature and wellbeing group activities for the foreseeable future. We very much look forward to the day when we can once again extend a warm Arnside & Silverdale AONB welcome to you all.

National Trust winter work party

15/01/2020 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

The National Trust owns and manages several of our best-known sites within the AONB including Arnside Knott, Eaves Wood and Jack Scout.

Join the National Trust rangers on their weekly work parties to help look after these special places. Today, they will be working in Redhills Wood, Arnside clearing the undergrowth and smaller trees. Please park in the layby on Silverdale Road and meet inside the vehicle gate, opposite the cemetery at 10am. Don’t forget to wear appropriate clothing and to bring some lunch.

For further information, telephone 01524 702815 or e-mail emma.hillary@nationaltrust.org.uk
