Landscape Trust Gait Barrow in all its aspects
This is a general walk enjoying the flora, fauna and landscape of Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve, hopefully taking in the Lady’s-slipper orchid and possibly Duke of Burgundy butterfly. It is being led by Mike and Jean Warren who are keen natural historians and have led many walks in the past. The walk is 3.5 to 4 miles in length, mainly level with some rocky paths, and will explore various permitted paths within the reserve. The event should finish by 12.30pm
This event is free, but we would appreciate a donation of £5 from any non-members. Dogs are not permitted on this walk. The number of participants is limited to 20 so booking is essential. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org, giving walk reference W5, name and contact details for each attendee (including telephone number in case of last minute alteration or cancellation) and whether or not they are members of the Landscape Trust.
