RSPB Leighton Moss Visitor Centre
Discover the home of some very special birds and other creatures – from breeding bitterns to red deer and butterflies!
Relax in the sensory garden, follow the trails, do a bit of bird-watching from the hides and finish off your day with some lovely home-made refreshments in the cafe.
Most of the trails are suitable for wheelchairs and a Tramper, an all-terrain mobility scooter, is now available for hire free of charge to anyone over the age of 14 – please note pre-booking is essential. No prior experience of using a Tramper is necessary as users will be given an induction in how to operate it. To make an enquiry or to book the Tramper call RSPB Leighton Moss on 01524 701601.
The Visitor centre is open 9.30 am-5 pm (4.30 pm December and January). Entry to the reserve is free for RSPB members and half price for those who visit by public transport, by bike or on foot.
