Leighton Hall
Award winning Leighton Hall is the lived-in house of the famous furniture making Gillow dynasty. Unravel the fascinating past of this ancient, Lancashire family, and wander through the spectacular grounds and pretty gardens. As well as the house and grounds, Leighton has a children’s play area, caterpillar maze, plant conservatory and charming tea rooms. Leighton is very much a “lived in” house, brought to life by the enthusiasm of the guides. Birds of prey are flown on open days – weather permitting.
The Hall is open from May – September (2 – 5pm Tuesday – Thursday, plus Sundays in August)
