Teddy Heights
Teddy Heights, purchased by the Landscape Trust in 2004, is a small reserve in Carr Bank which is open to the public for quiet recreation. Enjoy a stroll through the native broad-leaved woodland, with Oak, Ash, Yew and Hazel, looking and listening out for the woodland birds which make their home here including Great Spotted Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Bullfinch, Marsh Tit and Blackcap.
The meadow is managed with short periods of grazing to encourage a diversity of wildflowers that attract butterflies and other invertebrates.
