And the Bittern Award Winner for 2022 is… Brian Meakin

We’re delighted to announce that the winner of the Bittern Award for 2022 is Brian Meakin.

Brian was presented with the award at the National Association of AONBs Conference 2022, at Lancaster University.

Brian is the Chair of the AONB Executive Committee, and has dedicated many years to the protection and enhancement of the Arnside & Silverdale AONB. We’re delighted to be able to recognise his contribution.
