Consultation on the draft AONB Action Plan

Click the link below to view and download the final draft of the AONB Management Plan. This document has been subject to review and amendment following the six week consultation period that ended on 5th December 2008 - It has now been submitted to the four principal local authorities and Natural England for adoption, prior to submission to the Government Minister with responsibilities for AONBs.

The Management Plan is accompanied by a detailed Action Plan. This document has been prepared following the close of the consultation period on the full Management Plan and incorporates the changes made as a result of feedback on the Management Plan. While the Action Plan is now subject to its own period of consultation it is not intended that alterations will be made to the Policy Responses and Management Objectives that have been taken directly from the Pre-Adoption Management Plan.

The opportunity to comment on the Action Plan document ended on the 20th March 2009. However it is intended that the Action Plan will be under rolling review either annually or bi-annually, therefore you are invited to email us with any specific ideas and suggestions you have regarding the Action Plan, so they can be considered at the relevant review. You can use the email form below if you wish. Your consultation comments will then be assessed and may used in the further development of the Action Plan.

It will help in the development of the Action Plan if you make your comments specific and suggest wording for any improvements, alterations or additions you think should be included in the final version of the Plan.
If you don't wish to make any comments on any particular section of the Plan, please make an entry on the consultation form such as "no comment".
