– a valued, distinctive and living landscape, rich in wildlife and cultural heritage, supported by a vibrant rural economy and strong diverse local communities.

The AONB Executive Committee oversees and makes decisions about the work of the Unit and is made up of representatives from local authorities, national agencies, local communities and voluntary sector organisations.
