The Society aims to encourage the study and enjoyment of the natural history of Cumbria and North Lancashire and to help protect the flora and fauna we see around us.
Field trips occur regularly in the summer as do talks and lectures from September onwards each year through to April.
Field trips involve walks of up to 3 miles (5km). Usually members will take packed lunches and leave from Arnside W.I. Hall at 10:00 am unless otherwise stated. No dogs are permitted on Society field trips.
