Did you join in with a twenty four hour wildlife survey event?

The event took place at Cuerden Valley Park, Bamber Bridge Preston. The Opening Ceremony on Saturday saw special guest Bill Oddie – TV Naturalist. Bill officially open the event at the Barn, headquarters of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.

Throughout the day there were walks and talks on all sorts of weird and wonderful wildlife. Between 10am on Saturday 7th August and 10am on Sunday 8th August, an army of volunteers and members of the public found over 800 species of plant and animal life in Cuerden Valley Park.
