The Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is recognised for its extraordinary diversity of habitats and wildlife. Stunning limestone pavements, ancient woodlands, intimate orchards and meadows, and an impressive coastline make this area one of England’s finest landscapes.

The AONB Partnership of conservation organisations, landowners and local experts came together to offer a range of events for all the family during early June this year. Lots of people came to see the "who's who" of rare and beautiful wildflowers including:

- Lady’s-slipper orchid
- Cut-leaved cranesbill
- Birdsfoot trefoil
- Bloody cranesbill
- Yellow flag-iris
- Northern marsh orchid

There were lots of events for all ages to join in with. You see what you missed out by downloading the Festival leaflet.
