The only kind of tornado that you might welcome in your backyard glided gently past the AONB Office during the morning. This Tornado is the only living example of an A1 pacific steam locomotive, and it catches peoples attention and imagination where-ever it goes. A real A1 superstar.

Lots of people turned out at Arnside station to see the most modern steam engine in the world pulling a train of about a dozen carriages across the Viaduct.
