A hoard of 30 ancient Barbarous Radiates coins, thought to date back to 250AD has been uncovered at a caravan park near Arnside. 10 bronze Roman trumpet brooches dating back to 75-150AD were also discovered when a local historian set out with his metal detector in search of hidden treasure.
