The National Association for AONBs (NAAONB) welcomes the publication of the Natural Environment White Paper. Protected landscapes (AONBs and National Parks) have a clear role to play in delivering the White Paper’s aspirations through our continued partnership working at the local level. This will mean improving the delivery of ecosystem services for people while increasing wildlife's chances of successfully adapting to climate change. The NAAONB has signed up to a joint statement which summarises the opportunities and challenges.
