Training opportunities are aimed at anyone interested in helping the AONB and learning new skills in countryside management and conservation. You are welcome to join in the events advertised here, whether you are an AONB volunteer, or live or work in the AONB or are a visitor interested in learning more about the area and its special qualities.
Some training opportunities are focused on the AONB volunteers or other specialist groups, others are aimed at more general audiences.

Hedgelaying TrainingFree training for complete beginners and local people over 16 years of age wanting to develop rural skills and help keep rural crafts alive. Location: Storth Primary School playing field. Training is free but places are limited so booking is essential.
