National Association for AONBs  -  2011 AGM - London

AONB Partnerships from across the country attended the National Association AGM on Friday 14th October which was opened by Defra Parliamentary Under Secretary, Richard Benyon MP, who took time in his busy schedule to record a message for the AONB Family.

He started by praising the NAAONB for its leadership during difficult times before moving on to compliment the AONB Family on its cohesion and the quality of its work at a local level. He also commended the continuing excellent work of the tri-partite partnership in delivering change and setting a framework for activity before finishing his short address by expressing his faith that the NAAONB will go from strength to strength.
