The work of the National Landscape Partnership aims to conserve and enhance this extraordinary place now and for the future.
Landscape Trust wins Co-op support
September 26th, 2016
The Arnside/Silverdale Landscape Trust is delighted to announce that it has just been selected to receive funding from the Co-op Local Community Fund.
Every time Co-op members buy selected Co-op branded products and services, 1% of their spend goes to a local cause. But we need your help. The more support we get, the more funding we could receive. So if you are a Co-op Member, log in to your Co-op Membership account and choose Arnside/Silverdale Landscape Trust. If you’re not a member, please join and support us – it takes about three minutes to set up!
Any monies received will go towards new information boards at the Trust’s 3 reserves at Teddy Heights, Coldwell Parrock and Coldwell Meadows. The boards will describe the plants and animals to look out for at each of the reserves and also explain the conservation works being carried out by volunteers to improve the habitat for wildlife.
Thank you!
The Landscape Trust is a charity with over 1000 members, which is run by volunteers. It organises events in the AONB as well as owning three nature reserves and publishing the journal ‘Keer to Kent’ three times a year. Reserves maintenance is carried out by volunteers and the reserves are open to the public for quiet enjoyment or for school visits.
